Pues, pues, pues

Hola amigos y amigas! This week was a long one and pday got changed because we got to go the temple today YAY! Also this is gonna be a long email so feel free to skip to the highlights!

Starting off with the title, pues is something that literally everyone says at anytime when theyre talking and i have absolutely no idea what it means but it seems like you can say it whenever hahah🤷‍♀️

Anyway this week was filled with a lot of really high highs and a lot of really low lows, but that just be how it is sometimes i guess. We were really struggling with finding and faced a lot a lot of rejection so it was super hard and we felt pretty down. So we starting focusing on part member families and inactive members and we saw so many miracles! After a really long really hard day that had pretty much no success we decided to go talk to this part member family. The dad is a member but kind of inactive because of work, but his wife and 8 year old daughter arent members SCORE!! their daughters name is dana and she is the cutest thing ive ever seen, shes been taught a lot in the past but wasn't old enough to be baptized, but now she is and she loved the lesson and bore her testimony about why she believes in the church and it was so precious ðŸ¥¹ we asked her if she wants to be baptized and she had the biggest smile on her face when she said "siiiii" !! YAY! So we were able to set a fecha for her baptism and she is so so excited!

Also this week we really got through to our friends who have a lot of questions about the book of mormon. Carol and jefferson are this cute young couple and i love them dearly. Carol reminds me so much of my mom and i feel like theyre the first people that ive really been able to connect with! We've been teaching them for about 3 weeks now and taking everything really really slow and helping to answer their questions ! This past week we talked a lot about faith and why we need to have faith in the book of mormon. Jefferson asked me why i have faith in this book and so i was able to bear my testimony about the book of mormon and joy it has brought to my life. I know this book is true because of read it, ive studied it, and I have found jesus christ on every page. I invite you all to truly read and study the book of mormon and gain a testimony for yourselves! This is book is so so good you guys! Anyway, that was an awesome lesson and the spirit was so strong! And after three weeks of trying they finally came to church!! And I got to color with their cutie 2 year old son trying to keep him quiet during relief society!! Then monday we went over to have a debrief with them about how they liked it and only carol was home but she said everyone LOVED it! Her kids loved it and want to go back. And she said that she loved how central the family is in our church🥹 you guys i almost starting crying when she was telling us this! It makes me so so happy that she was able to feel the joy that i always feel in church and that she was able to understand the importance of it! And she casually mentioned shes trying to stop drinking coffee lets gooooo!! GUYS I AM SO HAPPY!!

Spiritual thought!
Ok so on monday we went and did some contacting in an area we're not in a lot. We buenased this house and a deaf lady came out and so we tried talking with her and writing stuff out for her but she also is partially blind, or so we think, because she was having a hard time reading. Also i dont know if shes all the way there mentally, but she kept trying to talk to us through sign language and obviously neither of us knew really what was going on. But we were able to write some things to her and i was able to sign "jesus loves you" because honestly thats the most important thing that we could tell her.

During this time I felt so much genuine love for her and I could feel how much God truly loves her. I was able to truly see her as a daughter of God, and know of the love that God has for all of his children. So this week just remeber that everyone is a child of God, everyone deserves your love, and God and Jesus Christ love you all so much and individually! Jesus loves you! I love you!
