Off to Panama!

Hey guys! It's going to be a short one today because I'm crazy busy because I leave for panama tonight! This week was full of so many fun times but also so many hard goodbyes. I have loved my time at the ccm and I am going to miss all the people that I have become so close with! 


Let me give you some highlights and funny quotes from this week

- "el jefe del jege del jefe" (we had three bosses show up to our class one day)
- service with the SHORTEST lady I have ever met (see attached photo)
- teaching a lesson to a latino companionship and actually understanding most of what they said
- "oh these people are gonna be so sick" (when all the new people came in and didn't realize what was coming for them food wise)
- "the screwtape lovers??"
- "cansado de americans" 
- super pretty rainbow Monday night!
- learning to play a little bit of a song on the guitar until determining my hands are too small for guitar lol
- the last Sunday at the ccm and doing a testimony meeting with our fav district 

This week i have learned a lot about trusting in God. I'm so excited to go to Panama but also so nervous! Whenever I get nervous I just think about the fact that God has called me specifically to this place and these people, and that Jesus is going to be by my side the whole time. I know Jesus has me and will support me and I know he does the same for you during your life!

Hola! To fill you in on the title lol, the indigenous people here in panama are the kuna, think the mayan or aztec in mexico. Anyway the kuna have their own language and the women always dress a way and its so cool! Except we can't really teach them because we dont speak the same language haha. But our recent convert bernardo who is 67 speaks kuna! SO COOL! so one day i asked him to teach me some phrases and i was writing them down how they sound haha, so "dege ten no aidi" means "hello how are you?" But I'm sure its not spelt anything like that hahah, lots of giggles that night as i tried to spell it out.  In all reality though this week has definitely been the hardest so far on the mission, wayyy harder than the first week which i honestly didn't think was possible. UN MES!

¡Hola! You guys this week was actually so peak! After I recovered from being sick it was on the up and up!  We got to teach again in spanish and this time it went so well! The first time we did it was muy mal but this time it was so good! We taught the cutest old lady and she was so patient with our spanish. We all totally felt the spirit and it got me so so excited to be a missionary out in the field!  We also got some super crazy rain Saturday night! We were studying, luckily under the canopy, and all the sudden it goes from nothing to dumping. So of course we took a break and ran around in the rain, but it was so much fun! I lovee the rain and it was def a core memory from the ccm. ALSO! I hit one month as a missionary on Saturday! It's so surreal because I feel like i just started but we're already a month through! Holaa mis amigos! This week was so so so good! We were super busy and we met so many cool people! Soo much better than last week, and also thank you so much to everyone that emailed me, yall are angels   the title is because people here try to learn english from google so one of our recent converts kept saying this during our lesson but with the accent it was so funny TRANSFER NEWS Its transfers this week and we got the news last night about 15 minutes before we go to sleep so it was a stressful night hahah. BUT I'm staying in my area, the blessed praderas b but I'm getting a new comp hermana beutler!!!
